In one of the most highly anticipated moments for the fragrance industry, The Fragrance Foundation announced the finalists for the 2025 Fragrance Foundation Awards at its annual luncheon held today at Cipriani 42. Revealing the finalists for 19 fragrance categories, the event set the stage for the exciting countdown to the “best of 2024’s fragrances” at the June Awards that salutes excellence and innovation in the industry. Adding to the afternoon’s festivities was the announcement of the Lifetime Achievement Perfumer with this year’s distinguished honor going to renowned perfumer, Daniela Andrier, Master Perfumer at Givaudan, and the presentation of the inaugural TFF Leadership Award to Dr. Joyce F. Brown, president of The Fashion Institute of Technology.
Of the 19 fragrance categories, winners of five categories were also announced during the afternoon event. Winners of the remaining 14 categories will be revealed at the iconic ceremony on June 5th at Lincoln Center where two awards of distinction will also be presented including the Lifetime Achievement Perfumer and the 2025 Hall of Fame Award to Ralph Lauren, Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of The Ralph Lauren Corporation, as previously announced.
“The April luncheon is a symbolic moment for the US fragrance industry as it marks the countdown to the industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony, The Fragrance Foundation Awards,” states Linda G. Levy, president of The Fragrance Foundation. “To be a finalist for these coveted awards signifies to the industry and community the recognition of being one of the very best of fragrance across multiple categories. It is also a moment for us to celebrate the creative contributions of an esteemed perfumer such as Daniela Andrier and for the first time in our history, present an award to Dr. Joyce F. Brown for her visionary leadership in fragrance education and expanding the degree program at FIT, as she plans to retire in the spring.”
