New York – April 11, 2024 – The Fragrance Foundation (TFF) hosted its annual luncheon celebrating its much anticipated start to its awards season by announcing the finalists for the 2024 Fragrance Foundation Awards. Of the nineteen fragrance categories, five winners were announced with the winners of the remaining 14 categories to be revealed at the grand ceremony in June. The annual awards honors recipients for their achievement, innovation and excellence in the fragrance industry. Linda G. Levy, President of The Fragrance Foundation took the stage at Cipriani 42 to celebrate all the finalists within the nomination categories spotlighting the best in fragrance from 2023.
In addition to the finalists, the afternoon event revealed the celebrated 2024 Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Honoree, Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, Master Perfumer, Bvlgari and LVMH. As previously announced, Gilles Andrier, CEO of Givaudan, will be presented with the 2024 Hall of Fame honor at the iconic June 5th event at NYC’s Lincoln Center.
Extra-special guests Alka Joshi, international bestselling author of The Perfumer of Paris, the 3rd book of The Jaipur Trilogy, and Michael Edwards, world-renowned fragrance historian and author of American Legends: An Evolution of American Fragrances shared their latest releases and reflected on their fragrance journeys. These renowned authors joined over 350 industry luminaries and influencers who gathered for the presentation and celebrated their unity for #FragranceForwardTFF.
